Robert Downey Jr. has been famous for various big to small roles since the 80s of the last century. However, the character which changed his whole life was Tony Stark – Iron Man of the Marvel Universe.
When he first appeared as Iron Man in 2008, Robert really proved to the world that Marvel’s decision was right to entrust the role to him. In 2019, Robert Downey Jr. had to say goodbye to MCU after the death of Tony Stark’s character in the movie Avengers: Endgame.
Regarding DC, Robert Pattinson has currently been in the process of recording the movie The Batman, which is scheduled to premiere in 2021. These events will be in the DC’s Extended Cinema Universe (DCEU). Choosing Robert Pattinson to become one of the most important superheroes in the DC Universe has received mixed reviews. Many criticisms have been pointed at this decision of Warner Bros., and skepticism is spreading among the DC fan community.
In contrast to the majority, Robert Downey Jr. completely trusted and expected the debut of Robert Pattinson in a new role. In The Joe Rogan Experience, the actor shared his thoughts when being asked about DC’s The Batman movie that would be released next year: “I really want to see what Robert Pattinson can do. I like that guy. ”

Although fans are quite worried about Robert Pattinson’s performance, they are still excited about seeing the return of one of the most popular superheroes of all time on the big screen.
Though Robert Downey Jr. has no relation to DCEU, he is obviously a person with great influence. The role of Iron Man earned him two nominations for The Best Actor at the Oscar Award. It is not sure that Robert Pattinson would fulfill his role excellently, but with the encouragement of one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, he will certainly be somewhat more confident to smash all the doubts of the audience.
