Full name of Sam Heughan is Sam Roland Heughan. He was bornon April 30, 1980 in Balmaclellan, Dumfries and Galloway, S cotland. He is an outstanding actor thanks to his well-known role in Stars TV Series Outlanded since 2014. Let’s look at improving process of Heughan then and now.

When Sam was five years old , he moved to New Galloway and went to Kells elementary school.
At this time, he lived in converted stables in the grounds of Kenmure Castle. Before attending the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama which is the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland now, he spent two years on working and traveling.
During studying time there, Sam had performed various plays such as The Twits at Citizens Theater, and classic play Romeo & Juliet of Shakespeare.
Before his graduation in 2003, he was chosen to represent his school at the BBC Carlton Hobbs radio talent competition with other 3 students. In the same year, Heughan was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
Furthermore, he was successful in casting as Jamie Fraser in the famous series Outlander and got many compliments from the audiences. And season 5 of this famous series has just come back in February 2020.
